During the winter and spring, all Braswell HS Color Guard students participate in Winter Guard as they continue to develop and refine their skills as dancers, flags, rifles, and sabres. Winter Guard is an indoor activity allowing the Color Guard members to explore more vocabulary and extended techniques as they are able to progress away from the elements of being outdoors.  This group also has performances which require co-curricular participation.  There is a non-varsity and Varsity level winter guard at Braswell HS.  Membership is based on an audition and Directors’ approval.
