Kevin Ford
Kevin Ford is a working educator and performer in the DFW area. Raised in Denton, TX, Kevin attended the University of North Texas where he studied with Dr. Eric Nestler and performed with both the Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony. He became a prolific performer through the many concerts, recitals, and recording sessions that he took part in while at UNT, culminating in a performance with the Wind Symphony at the Midwest Clinic in 2015. Kevin also attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he studied with Dr. Steven Stusek. This led to him teaching lessons at the UNCG Summer Music Camp which is one of the most popular music camps in the state. In addition, Kevin also taught multiple lessons and masterclasses at the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp. In Texas, he has had students succeed at multiple levels in the All-Region and All-State Bands, and has coached multiple students through their college audition process at various accredited universities. When he is not on the saxophone, Kevin enjoys spending time with his two dogs, Dexter and Taika, and his cat Georgie.
